Vigna Lenuzza's Schioppettino 'Indigenously' is produced near the Jodrio river, on ponka soils that give this red wine its characteristic freshness. Minimal intervention in the vineyard and then French barriques in the cellar: a recipe for a structured, complex and unusual wine. The nose releases aromas of dried violets and black cherries, with hints of black pepper and liquorice. On the palate, it is warm and enveloping, with silky tannins and a persistent freshness that enhances its drinkability. Ideal with strong-flavoured dishes such as goulash
Deep ruby red with garnet reflections
Blackberry and black cherry, followed by liquorice, mixed pepper and dried violet
Silky tannins, very fresh and rounded
