Daniel Sigmund's Silvaner is a structured and deep white wine that reflects its prestigious terroir. Ageing in large barrels is designed to produce a solid, dry wine, supported by a clear savoury character and moderate fragrance. The nose is complex, herbaceous and with hints of apple and salty notes, while the palate is full, round but also distinctly savoury. It pairs well with cheese and vegetarian dishes, such as savoury pies and roasted vegetables
Intense straw yellow with golden reflections
Ripe yellow apple, dried broom and jasmine, hints of iodine and artemisia, white peach on the finish
Clean, fresh, very savoury but moderately rounded
