SOAVE 'FIENILE' CAMERANI - CORTE SANT'ALDA 2023 DESCRIPTION

The white Veneto 'Fienile' Soave is a product that was born in the light of the production philosophy of the Corte Sant'Alda winery, in which sustainability and biodynamic practices represent the cornerstones of a production that is always careful to respect nature and the balance of the ecosystem surrounding the vineyards. We are faced with an elegant product with a calling card that revolves around the concept of minerality on both the nose and palate. A fresh and drinkable bottle that goes incredibly well with fish first courses and vegetarian risottos.

Corte Sant'Alda Soave 'Fienile' originates from a blend in which we find both Garganega and, in small percentages, Trebbiano di Soave. The vines of these two varieties grow in vineyards located in the Val di Mezzane that are between 13 and 30 years old and are characterised by a subsoil composed mainly of limestone and clay. We are located approximately 200-300 metres above sea level, with an exposure facing south and southwest. During vinification, maceration of a few hours on the skins is carried out, and fermentation occurs spontaneously - thanks to indigenous yeasts - in steel tanks. The wine is then left to refine for a few months in steel, remaining in contact with the fine lees.

This Soave 'Fienile' Corte Sant'Alda announces itself in the glass with a resplendent, straw-yellow colour. The aromas that make their way through the nose tell a story of mainly fruity and mineral notes, then enriched by touches of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with a refreshing and savoury mouthfeel, endowed with a fine personality. A bottle that wins you over with its refinement and which, moreover, comes with a final price that is practically impossible to resist.
