Pinot Noir 'Sommerhalde' Grosses Gewächs Bernard Huber 2022

Bernhard Huber's Spätburgunder 'Sommerhalde' Grosses Gewächs is a complex and elegant wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the Sommerhalde cru. This plot, surrounded by dense forest, has the widest temperature range between day and night, which concentrates the most elegant aromatic profiles in the grapes. The winery works with very dense vines and low yields to obtain a concentrated juice and a richer bouquet. The nose opens with hints of ripe black berries, with a balsamic touch and a finish with smoky notes of tobacco and roasted coffee. The palate is decisive and juicy, fresh with a long iodine note and silky tannins. Pair with roast duck breast or tagliatelle with white hare ragù
