TORBATO SPUMANTE BRUT 'MIRÀLL' MAGNUM SELLA & MOSCA DESCRIPTION

Sella & Mosca's Torbato Spumante Brut 'Miràll' is a new classic from a winery that has always been very attentive to enhancing its territory, giving voice even to those lesser-known indigenous grape varieties, which are able with their own peculiarities to broaden the oenological horizons of all wine enthusiasts. Among these, Torbato is a grape that is particularly dear to the winery, which has decided to present it also in a Spumante Brut version. A label that is striking for its great freshness, in which the drink is sculpted by a savoury and mineral texture that is punctually balanced. A bottle with an easy-going character that lends itself well to uncorking during the most diverse occasions, thanks also to its great culinary versatility.

The Sella & Mosca winery makes this Spumante Brut Torbato 'Miràll' from the grapes of an indigenous vine variety, Torbato. The grapes, carefully selected at harvest time to guarantee only the best of the terroir of origin, are processed following the principles of the Martinotti Method. After vinification, the wine undergoes fermentation in steel, and then remains, again in steel, to mature for a few months, until bottling.

The Torbato-based 'Miràll' Spumante Brut shows a pale straw-yellow hue to the eye; the perlage is fine and fine-grained and quite long-lasting. The nose is dominated by elegant, subtle notes, where floral aromas alternate with hints that veer towards the mineral. On the palate, it is light-bodied, slender, flowing, with a pleasantly fresh sip, marked by a savoury vein. An authentic and original bubbly, with which the Sella & Mosca winery reaffirms its centuries-old bond with the territory. Try it ataperitif time, to be won over by a toast made in Sardinia.!
