SPUMANTE METODO CLASSICO NATURE BLANC DE NOIRS '70 LUNE' NICOLA GATTA DESCRIPTION

The Spumante Metodo Classico Blanc de Noirs Nature “70 Lune” is the flagship wine of Nicola Gatta, a true marvel that stands out for its depth and definition. We are truly at the top with this pearl of Nicola, the genuine face of Franciacorta, a liquid that would make even more renowned appellations pale in comparison if tasted blind. The giant of Gussago, besides having talent and sensitivity, is one of those winemakers who manages to convey his visceral passion for the vineyard and for wine, becoming a reliable reference point for enthusiasts, both in the cellar and at artisan wine fairs where his booth is always crowded. Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grow here without manipulations and forcing, as if to testify, if there was still a need, that the vitality of the fruit is a fundamental prerequisite for obtaining a great wine.

The Blanc de Noirs Nature “70 Lune” is a classic method obtained from pure Pinot Nero, coming from grapes that grow in Gussago without the use of any chemical or synthetic substances. If in the vineyard the precepts of biodynamics are followed, in the cellar spontaneous alcoholic fermentations of the base wines continue, and long aging on the lees as in this case, where the liquid rests for as long as 70 months. The sulfur contained in the liquid is only that produced naturally by the wine.

The Metodo Classico Blanc de Noirs Nature “70 Lune” presents itself with an intense hue that leans towards amber. The nose has extraordinary complexity and definition, with aromas ranging from pastry to gooseberry, from citrus to chalk. A three-dimensional sip, a surgical fusion of pulp, salt, and invigorating freshness in what is a true triumph for lovers of the classic method. A cyclone.
