SPUMANTE METODO CLASSICO EXTRA BRUT 'SOLERA' BUVOLI DESCRIPTION

The Spumante Metodo Classico Extra Brut 'Solera' from the Opificio del Pinot Nero by Marco Buvoli is a label with a classic profile, expressing all the best characteristics of the great French grape variety. It has a wide and rich sip, with evolved notes due to the long aging on the lees. For its particular characteristics, it is a Metodo Classico with a gastronomic vocation, very suitable for being enjoyed throughout the meal. It is particularly indicated for pairings with flavorful baked fish or with roasted white meats.

The Metodo Classico Extra Brut 'Solera' is a Spumante from the Opificio del Pinot Nero, born from Marco Buvoli's passion for great Champagnes made with the pure grape variety, following the model of the great labels from the Montagne de Reims area. The Pinot Nero has adapted very well to the hilly area north of Vicenza and Padova. It is cultivated in splendid sunny exposures, always ventilated and with significant temperature excursions. The harvest is carried out manually, with selection in the vineyard of the best bunches. At the end of the soft pressing, the must is vinified in white. After a few months of aging in steel, the base wines are blended to create the final cuvée, with the addition of reserve wines partly aged in wood using the Solera method. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, according to the Metodo Classico, with aging on the lees for at least 48 months before disgorgement.

The Extra Brut 'Solera' is a Metodo Classico made by the Opificio del Pinot Nero of Marco Buvoli. It is a Blanc de Noirs of remarkable personality and character, suitable for those who love full-bodied sparkling wines with notable aromatic richness. In the glass, it presents a bright light yellow color, with a fine and continuous perlage. The olfactory profile is intense and multifaceted, with aromas of citrus peel, lime, floral nuances, fragrant fruit aromas, peach, dehydrated apricot, hints of pineapple, notes of bread crust and toasted dried fruit. On the palate, it has a good structure, with rich and complex aromas. The sip is long and deep, with a persistent finish and clear freshness.
