SPUMANTE METODO CLASSICO EXTRA BRUT 'TRE' BUVOLI DESCRIPTION

The Extra Brut “Tre” is a Metodo Classico sparkling wine produced by the Vicenza winery Opificio del Pinot Nero by Marco Buvoli. It originates in Veneto, in the hilly area of Vicenza, and represents a beautiful expression of the famous pure grape variety, crafted with extreme care to best enhance the grapes. The winery's style is based on respect for the raw material, on long aging on the lees and low dosages. These three components allow for a label with a decisive personality, standing out in the sparkling wine scene for its freshness and elegance.

The Metodo Classico Extra Brut “Tre” is part of the range of sparkling wines created by Marco Buvoli. His love for Pinot Nero and Champagne led him to create Opificio del Pinot Nero, a small artisanal reality that produces excellent wines. The sparkling wine is based on high-quality Pinot Nero grapes, sourced from the company's vineyards cultivated in the pre-Alpine hilly area, north of the cities of Vicenza and Padua. In this area, the Burgundian grape has found the suitable lands and climate to give intense and fresh sparkling bases. At the end of the manual harvest, the grapes are pressed very gently to extract only the free-run juice. The winemaking takes place at controlled temperature and the base wines age, partly in steel and partly in wood, until the moment of blending. The final cuvée undergoes the second fermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Method, with a stay on the lees of at least 3 years before proceeding to disgorgement.
