ALTO ADIGE 'CUVÉE TERLANER 'MAGNUM CANTINA TERLANO 2025 DESCRIPTION

The South Tyrolean 'Cuvée Terlaner' from Cantina Terlano embodies the tradition and history of a region where international white grape varieties have found an ideal environment in which to express themselves to a remarkably high standard. It is the perfect wine to introduce you to the range of wines from this prestigious South Tyrolean winery and to appreciate its rigorous, crisp and mineral style, which is also found in the single-varietal versions of the three grapes used here. Pinot Bianco brings balance, elegance and harmony, Chardonnay offers rich and fragrant fruity notes, and Sauvignon Blanc adds a touch of fresh aromaticity to the blend.

The 'Cuvée Terlaner' from Cantina Terlano is the result of a skilful and balanced blend of selected local grapes. The vineyards are cultivated on the hills of Terlano, situated at an altitude of between 300 and 700 metres above sea level and characterised by soils formed from the weathering of quartz porphyry of ancient volcanic origin. These are poor, well-drained soils, composed of sand with a small amount of clay, resting on a quartz bedrock. The climate, cool and always breezy, is characterised by significant daily temperature variations, which favour slow ripening and the development of rich and elegant aromas.  The gentle pressing of the grapes is followed by temperature-controlled vinification in stainless steel vats. The wine matures for 80% in stainless steel vats and 20% in large wooden barrels for a period of approximately 6 months.

The 'Terlaner Cuvée' from Cantina Terlano is the wine that best represents the typical terroir of the production area. The choice of blend, in fact, allows us to move beyond single-varietal wines, in order to highlight and bring to the fore the characteristics of the soils and climate. It has a straw-yellow colour with bright greenish highlights. The bouquet offers elegant aromas of white-fleshed fruit, peach, green apple, hints of citrus and nuances of medicinal herbs. The attack on the palate is rich,
