Casa di Baal's "Torno Subito" is a fresh and immediate version of Barbera, a grape variety best known in Northern Italy but also moderately widespread in the South, particularly in Campania. The name comes from a typical expression used by Annibale, the producer, who says it to his family before going to sleep... an expression of eccentricity that we also find in the wine. The wine is aged in ceramic amphorae, neutral containers, to preserve the strongly fruity and fresh character of the grape variety. The nose reveals ripe red fruit and violet, while the palate is savoury, fresh and smooth, with great juiciness. It pairs well with Mediterranean cuisine and simple dishes such as pasta with tomato sauce or roast chicken
Bright ruby red with violet reflections
Freshly picked red fruits such as wild strawberries and fresh cherries, hints of violet and pleasant hints of flint
Lively and smooth, with a distinct savouriness and light tannins, juicy
