Podere della Torre's Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is a white wine with a strong territorial imprint. The grapes come partly from 30-year-old vines and partly from younger vines trained using the pergola and row systems. In the cellar, a short cold pre-fermentation maceration takes place to promote greater texture and aromatic complexity. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a few months' ageing in steel on the fine lees. The nose reveals hints of white flowers, Mediterranean herbs and salty notes. The palate is savoury, fresh and mineral, with just a hint of tannin. Perfect with Pescara-style fish soup
