Le Ragose's Valpolicella Classico is a young, easy-drinking red, designed to be enjoyed immediately. Made from grapes harvested by hand on hills facing west and south-west, it embodies the traditional style of Valpolicella, fresh and direct, with simple vinification that emphasises fragrance and natural acidity. The nose reveals delicate aromas of rose, fresh cherry and a hint of almond. On the palate, it is dry, agile and pleasantly acidic, with a fresh and graceful mouthfeel. Best drunk within one or two years of bottling, perhaps with cold cuts or bigoli pasta with meat sauce
