VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO 'SASETI' MONTE DALL'ORA 2025 DESCRIPTION

The Valpolicella Classico "Saseti" from Monte dall'Ora is a Veneto red fresh and fruity, produced in the hilly area of Castelrotto and San Pietro in Cariano, in the heart of Valpolicella. It is made with a blend of the classic grape varieties of the territory: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, and Oseleta. It is the most typical and traditional label of the area, the one that best represents the history of Valpolicella. An everyday wine par excellence, it is vinified without using wood to emphasize the varietal character, the fresh fruity notes, and its smooth and appealing sip.

The wine "Saseti" is produced by a family-run winery that manages a 65-hectare estate of vineyards in the classic area of Valpolicella. Monte dall'Ora has always worked following tradition, with great attention to vineyard work, which is conducted according to the principles of organic farming, in full respect of the natural vegetative and productive balance of the plants. The vineyards are cultivated on terraces with dry stone walls, in a sort of natural amphitheater beautifully exposed to the southeast and always ventilated thanks to the Ora of Lake Garda. The soils have a predominantly limestone matrix and are particularly suited to producing fine and elegant wines. In the winery, delicate vinifications are used, and invasive oenological interventions are avoided to enhance the varietal characteristics of the grapes, as a typical expression of the terroir.
