Casalforte's Valpolicella Ripasso is a wine that embodies the identity of these Veronese valleys, where the traditional ripasso method is used on Amarone pomace. This process, combined with ageing in oak, gives the wine a rich and complex structure, with hints of sweet and dried fruit enveloped in a light bed of spices. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied and smooth, with an enveloping mouthfeel. Perfect with a radicchio and sausage risotto
Deep ruby red with violet reflections
Intense aromas of ripe cherry and blackcurrant, with cocoa, raisins and cinnamon
Full-bodied, rounded and dry, warm and persistent
