Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore 'Historical' by Umani Ronchi is a 'historical' white wine made from the old vines of Montecarotto. The maturation process sees it rest for almost 5 years between cement, steel and bottle before being released on the market. Nevertheless, it must wait at least 5 years before it expresses itself to the full. A structured white with ripe aromas, intriguing citrus and ethereal hints, great structure and energy on the palate. On the finish, the savoury and marine nature that this grape variety is capable of expressing is evident. A precious wine
Intense straw yellow
Hints of bergamot and lemon, then hints of beeswax, chamomile
Very dynamic, with great structure and energetic, distinctly salty sip
