Luigi Einaudi's Verduno Pelaverga is a distinctive, fragrant and spicy Piedmontese red wine. Produced in the municipality of Verduno, it is made from grapes grown on clayey and calcareous soils facing west, which receive all the afternoon sunlight. Vinification in steel tanks with constant temperature control preserves the aromatic integrity and expressive precision of the wine. The nose reveals fresh strawberry, delicate floral notes and distinct hints of white pepper. The palate is fresh and velvety, with a balance between acidity and tannins, making it extremely drinkable. Excellent paired with tajarin pasta with sausage ragù
Delicate ruby red
Fragrant, with hints of wild strawberries and blueberries, hints of rose petals, hints of fresh grass and notes of white pepper
Tense and dynamic, with lively freshness and firm but well-integrated tannins
