'Vigna Vecchia' Montecalvi 2021

Montecalvi's 'Vigna Vecchia' comes from the Le Terrazze vineyard, planted in 1932, which is one of the oldest in the region. A classic blend of Sangiovese with Ciliegiolo and Canaiolo, it is aged for three years before bottling. The nose reveals ripe cherry, violet and sweet spices, while the palate shows structure and harmony, with soft tannins and a dry finish. It pairs beautifully with Florentine steak or aged pecorino cheeses
