Aphros Wine's Vinhão comes from biodynamic vineyards cultivated by true pioneers of this philosophy in Portugal. It is a red wine from the Vinho Verde region, famous mainly for its light and fresh white wines. Fermentation takes place in ancient granite vats with foot treading, a traditional method that respects the integrity of Vinhão, a light red berry with high acidity. The nose reveals cherry, blackcurrant and vegetal nuances with hints of menthol. On the palate, it reveals firm but rounded tannins, supported by great freshness and a graceful mouthfeel. Perfect with cured meats and 'arroz de cabidela', a dish based on cockerel
Deep purple red
Initial notes of cherry and blackcurrant, rosemary, followed by white pepper and mentholated notes
With a sharp freshness, rounded tannins and great smoothness on the palate
