The history of this small producer of Verzy, a village where Jean Paul Deville has his house in the center of the AOC Champagne, has a rich history of tradition and respect for the quality viticulture. Just 20 kilometers southeast of the capital of Champagne, Reims, its vineyards grow on a hill. In these places to life his Champagne "Carte Noire", Champenoise method in which the second fermentation occurs in the bottle. What distinguishes this "Carte Noire" from other bottles of Champagne is the predominance of Pinot Noir in the blend. Jean Paul Deville was able to produce a Champagne of great character and personality, with a bubble dense and small, rich fruity notes. Since 2013, the Maison is led by his wife and four sons of Jean Paul, who died prematurely, which continues with passion and skill the work begun by his father. The "Carte Noire" proves once a work of excellence, a Champagne persistent and refined, surprising sip by sip. Champagne that impressed us the endlessness of its perfumes, its fruity aroma and buttery; a Champagne truly remarkable, that has earned a wide audience of admirers for the 'incredible value for money.
