In 1973 Alberto di Gresy founded in Martinenga, near Barbaresco, the winery Marchesi di Gresy and began to make. Alberto is very familiar with the countryside and the vineyards of Martinenga, where as a child was to spend the summer holidays at the Villa Giulia in her grandmother's house, away from the rumble and the hectic life of Milan. This love for the land and nature led him to make a choice very drastic that led him to settle in Martinenga and devote himself entirely to the cultivation and to wine production. The vineyards are situated in the best crus in the area for the production of Barbaresco. The family of the Marchesi di Gresy be the owner of Martinenga in 1797, and adds that belonged to Monte Aribaldo, in Treiso. Alberto surrounds himself with people with long experience in the field of wine and listen to their valuable advice: the result are wines of high quality and great stylistic rigor, a true reflection of the terroir in which they are born.
