Villa Dora is a winery conducted since 1997 by the Ambrosio family, which has set itself since its inception as a wine cellar fully representative of the unique area: foot of Vesuvius. Villa Dora, today, represents the excellence of the wine industry in the Vesuvius area: focused on the production of local native varieties, their proposal is undoubtedly considered as one of the highest level of quality within a type little known by enthusiasts as the Doc Lacryma Christi. The vineyards are run strictly biological and surrounded by olive trees and beautiful pine trees. Their exposure is facing south-west, overlooking the spectacular Valle dell’Inferno, on Mount Vesuvius. Most of these vineyards are made up of over forty years old plants, grown with typical pergola system: high and mighty shades the soil heavily grassed. In this evocative and fascinating environment come alive the labels of Villa Dora, who always show up to the expectations, confirming tonic, juicy, mineral and dynamic wines: in short, a true creature of this beautiful land that comes to life around the Vesuvius.
