Le Vigne di Zamò’s ‘Zamò Bianco’ is a Friulian blend that brings together many of the region’s iconic grape varieties: Friulano, Ribolla, Pinot Grigio, as well as Sauvignon and Riesling, which undergo a brief cold maceration to accentuate their aromatic qualities. This is followed by partial malolactic fermentation and ageing on the lees with frequent bâtonnage, to give structure to the palate. On the nose, notes of white-fleshed fruit, citrus and light herbaceous nuances emerge. The palate is fresh and savoury, with a smooth finish that rounds off the wine. It pairs well with fish and vegetable dishes, and is ideal with baked trout
