'Le Litre Bovin' Rosso by Hervé Villemade is a pure Gamay, obtained with semi-carbonic maceration that preserves its aromatic dynamism. The colorful label recalls a tradition of French gastronomy from the sixties, which labeled bulk wine in one-liter bottles with their name. The nose is an explosion of crunchy red fruit with a slight musky hint on the finish. On the palate, it is soft and fresh: a wine 'to drink all at once' as the label states. Perfect for a snack paired with a platter of cold cuts and fresh cheeses, or with grilled vegetables.
Light ruby red
Fragrant notes of red fruits such as raspberry, currant, and pomegranate, with slight earthy hints
Smooth and easy-drinking, soft and pleasantly fresh
